Uh, grey 3.5 drives work on Macs as-is. I had one from my IIgs connected to my
Mac Plus several times. The only difference is that the eject button is
disabled and you can't use another drive plugged into the back.
I've seen the constant ejection thing, when I had my Plus cracked open and
tried to run a 3.5 connected to the internal connector with a Disk II cable.
It was scary.
