This really is a shame! What we should do is convince Burger Bill to
forget about trying to get liscensed, and modify his works so that they
aren't necessary. Who needs SimCity for the GS when Burger Bill could
change a few things with what he has and release GS City. Sure, it might
look and feel a lot like SimCity, but are the people that have the rights
to SimCity actually going to go through all the legal hassles of trying
to prove that GS City is a copyright violation of SimCity? After all,
it wouldn't be competition for them since they don't have a SimCity for
the GS anyway.
I'm sure someone will point out the legal flaws in what I've described,
but I think it is worth a try. Just doing some wishful thinking.
