:I just downloaded GSCII+ from ftp.cco.caltech.edu, and I am having
:trouble. It handles the text-to-binary conversion okay, in fact, I got it
:because I had a BinHex file I needed to unconvert that just caused GSHK to
:hang. But then GSCII+ tries to un-SHK the file, and gives me an "archive
:corrupt" message...something about an error on Line #2. This is with a
:known-good archive, which GSHK can handle with no problem at all.
:Anyone else had this problem? Do I need to find another copy of GSCII
:someplace? It's nice to have that available as an NDA, so I would like to
:get it working...
Well Dave... The version of GScii+ that I have (2.3.1) does not unshrink
files. It is a two step process. You use GScii+ to un-".bsq" the file
and then you use GSHK on the converted file. It goes something like this:
use GScii+ on Test.bsq and it will create Test.shk
use GSHK on Test.shk and you get the file Test

Look! I don't even have a .sig file, let alone anonymous access.
