There are, one that comes to mind is "NuPak IIgs" from Steven
Yuhasz. It duplicates all the functions of ShrinkIt-GS, including the
handling of forked files and decompression of Macintosh StuffIt archives.
Actually, it was written before GSHK existed, so in many respects it's
been made obsolite (it's almost like a prototype version of GSHK in a way :)
And no, before anyone asks, I don't think it handles the newer version of
StuffIt. If I remember correctly, it either dims them, just as GSHK now
does, or just reports some kind of error if you attempt it.
Seeing as there's very little chance GSHK will ever be updated,
I'm surprised no one has written a stand-alone application to uncompress
current day StuffIt archives, much along the lines of PMPUnZip (maybe we
could talk Paul into writing "PMPUnStuff" :-)
