   The only BBS I know that still supports  the Apple II to my knowledge is the 
HAAUG BBS.  Unfortunately it is a Novalink BBS  that runs really slow on a Power
Mac.  Also you have to be a member of the User group to get at the files or post
messages.  
  There used to be a time when almost half the BBSes here were Apples.  If you 
dial up the Atomic Cafe BBS, you can download the latest BBS list at 530-8875.
The HAAUG BBS is 977-3587.
