Dumb idea...but why not? My DL 2400 usually acts up when the edge
connector needs cleaning. Try pulling the card and gently clean the
connector with a clean eraser. Failing that, run the card until it
fails and touch the components to see if any are running hot. Some
run hot anyway so this doesn't always identify the problem chip, but
it might. You might try cooling the suspect chips with something like
Dust-Off from a camera supplier and seeing if the problem goes away.
If you're in luck it'll be a commercially available chip.
