Apple ][ europlus

Hello, I've just got the above machine to play with and....

It has two 5 1/4 inch disk drives. When the machine is turned on drive 1
makes some noise and then just sits there spinning the disk (unformatted as
I don't have any for it) with the message 'Apple ][' at the top of the screen.
If I press CTRL RESET the disk drive stops and a ] prompt appears.

I have found that SAVE and LOAD use the cassette bits but I cannot find a
way of using the disk drives. How do you format, catalogue, load from and save
to a disk on the Apple ][ EuroPlus.....

Help me! (The fly!)
