Re: apple assembly?
Try looking for either Merlin (DOS 3.3) or Merlin Pro (ProDOS). I started
assembly using the Apple Editor/Assembler (EDASM) which was supplied with
their Apple DOS Toolkit. EDASM was a good, basic, learning assembler
which utilized 40-column text. Merlin, on the other hand, is a LOT
faster, gives you 80-column text, and is generally more powerful.
There are other good assembler packages out there also, though I don't
recall
their names at this time.
Hope this helps.
