The GS/OS LaserWriter printer driver was designed specifically for the
Apple LaserWriter line....it's risky trying to use it with non-Apple
postscript printers (this doesn't seem to be true with the Mac LaserWriter
drivers). Printing to a DEClaser 1151, for example, gave me anything from
perfect output to goofed up fonts or plain garbage, if not some kind
of postscript error. I seemed to be able to print graphics (like SHR
screens) but could never seem to print AWGS page layout documents.

I ended up using the Harmonie driver if I was printing anything complex
or using custom TrueType fonts.
