Okay, let's see if I can help. I'm looking at the manual right now.
First off, how do you know the problem is with the card? Are you sure
the software works? What about the modem?
If you're sure, then read on. I'll describe how to connect a 1200 baud
modem as shown in the manual.
First, since the card is capable of being used as a printer (or
whatever) card as well, look on the card and you'll see a chip with a
triangle on it, it should be pointed towards MODEM. Switch settings for
a 1200bps modem are as follows:
BANK #1 BANK#2
1-1 1-2 1-3 1-4 1-5 1-6 1-7 2-1 2-2 2-3 2-4 2-5 2-6 2-7
OFF ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON OFF OFF OFF
I think I have an extra copy of the manual, so if you want (as long as I
<do>), I can send you the extra.
Btw, I have not given any explanations for these settings, since this
would end up being a fairly long message and I'm not the greatest typist
in the world, but these are the standard as listed.
Hope this helps,
Rob.
