IIe emulation card & LaserWriter Select 310

In a couple of posts I have complained that the IIe emulation card in 
my Mac LC475 does not print Apple ][ files properly, cutting off columns
at the right and lines at the top.  I have now talked directly to a 
tech at Apple who reports that this is the result of a known incompatibility
between the ][e card and my LaserWriter Select 310.  Lucky me -- I have
the same card and the same printer both at work and at home.  Oh well,
perhaps this will save someone else from tearing their hair out over
a problem with no known fix.
