I have to take exception to that statement. I use to own a Maxtor
LXT-213SY that NEVER gave me a problem. Was quiet and fast. The only
reason I got rid of it was I wanted more then 207 megs. of space. So I
upgraded to a Fujitsu 520. It's louder, but not bk much.
Note to people with Apple HS SCSI cards. I had to modify it to work on
the Maxtor for term power. The guy I sold my Maxtor had a HS SCSI.
