Just a question regarding an old topic which could relate to the subject
matter of this thread...did Apple Computer ever settle the lawsuit brought
against it by The Beatles? The original agreement alllowed Apple Computer
to market computers, but _not_ music making equipment, etc. with the
Apple trademark which belongerd to The Beatles...this also might explain
the reluctance to continue the Apple II line ... and to cut out the
marketing of the IIGS...I seem to recall a mention or two of this matter
as being unresolved as late as the end of the 80s and into the early 90s...
and if it was resolved, what was the resolution? Any agreements reached
could bear on the licensing of the Apple II technology, or so it seems to
me....
