Will my hard drives get zapped?

I have a couple 5.25 Seagate hard drives on my GS, driven by the
original Apple Rev C SCSI controller card.  I will be receiving a
RamFast Rev C SCSI card next week, and I want to move the drives to the
new card.  Will my files get corrupted by the swich in SCSI cards?  I
heard from one person that this has happened.
