On one of my //e computers I have used the switch to select between the old
][e character set (no mousetext) and the new mousetext set.
On the other I put a set of vt100 graphics characters (both normal & inverse)
in the 2nd half of the EPROM (std mousetext in the other half).
Now if I can only work out how to read the 8th bit of the keyboard ROM I could
make the arrow keys send a different code from their control key equivalents.
This would make terminal emualtors easier to write & use.
