Print in GS/OS

I have a question for you GS/OS word processor types.  How do you get any GS/OS
program to print simple draft text?  I still use mostly 8 bit programs, pri-
marily because of this inability to print in simple draft mode, using the
printer's internal fonts.  I can see where a resume should be done in GS/OS
but how can anyone stand to wait all day and use ribbon after ribbon for the
other 99.9% of the day's normal printing?

Can it be done?  How?

Same question on that other type of computer (Windows vs. messydos)?
