I'm afraid I can't be of much help on the file conversion front, but I can
steer you towards a file called AMDOS.SHK (or was it AMDOS.BSQ?).  Anyway,
it is at a couple of the A][ FTP sites.  What it is is a patch for DOS
3.3.  It is not itself a copy of 3.3, but rather a patch for whatever
version of 3.3 you happen to be using...DOS 3.3, ProntoDOs, DiversiDOS,
etc.  Anyway, the program patches DOS so that it can access the 3.5"
drive, splitting it into two 400k partitions, accessed via calls to S5,D1
and S5,D3 for the first drive; S5,D2 and S5,D4 for the second.  Also
includes a patch for FID.
