No, SSCII is an ORCA/Shell utility, which is identical to GSCII+
except for the user interface.

The UNIX source code version (also portable to MS-DOS and other
platforms) is called SCIIBIN.  It can only decode BinSCII files - the
others you listed can also encode BinSCII files.

There are UNIX utilities to encode BinSCII files - BSC for example.

One other BinSCII utility is my own "DESCII" program, which is an
ORCA/Shell utility similar to SSCII.  DESCII only supports decoding
BinSCII files, whereas SSCII can encode BinSCII and also handle
BinHex, UUENCODE and APack files.  DESCII's main advantage is that it
is twice as fast as SSCII.  I have a new version that I haven't
released yet which can encode BinSCII files as well.  I would release
it, but I don't trust the C compiler.
