I can't swear to ProDOS, but GS/OS system disks 6.0.1 certainly have what you need - I have a pair of IIGSs and a printer localtalked to my Powermac.. it took me all of 20 minutes to run the cables and set up the software.

So far, though, I've screwed up the printing - I can't "print through" to
the printer from the GSs - I have to move the file to the PM and print from there (not a big deal, but WRONG).  

you can't use slot 7 for anything else if you want to use AppleTalk on your GS (if it's ROM 1 - mine is)  I moved my SCSI card to slot 1 and put the Imagewriter on the printer port on GS2.  The laser is the printer on the Net.. I'll figger this out someday - I put this all together.. um... Tuesday.
