The 313 area code was split into 313 and 810, with Detroit and cities south
and west of Detroit keeping 313 and areas north of 8 Mi getting changed over
to 810. The new area code for Quality Computers would be 810.

Just to be sure, if you have used 810 and it worked, that is the correct
area code since 810 would not work for numbers that remain in the 313
area code. Just to be confusing, Michigan Bell (now Ameritech) let you
use both 810 and 313 on numbers that were being changed over to 810 for
about a year, now you just get a message stating the area code has been
changed.
