The keys on a IIgs pry off. You need to lift on both sides at the same
time so that it comes straight up. The larger keys (shift, control,
return, etc., have a wire thingie associated so you need to take more
care with them so that you pry it up and disengage the wire thingie
without bending it.

Once you have all the keys off you can suction off all the dross in
sight. Pay particular attention to hair that might have fallen into the
key in such a fashion that it gets under the contact and causes the key
to not make contact from time to time.

Sticky keys implies that somethng sticky fell onto the keyboard and
thus needs to be removed.

For alcohol, use only isopropyl since it costs the most and is a real
bitch to spell.

I dont' think I'd ever use WD-40 since it is a lubricant i.e.,
oil. Others may have other (oily) opinions.

"Radio Shack spray cleaner" I assume you mean tuner cleaner. I'd
recommend it any time since it doesen't leave a residue and thus can't
be a problem.

If you cannot get the key to work by cleaning then consider
replacement. Use a solder sucker and an iron to remove the key unit and
take it to your friendly Apple dealer who has replacement parts for the
Mac keyboard - which look identical to the IIgs keyboard.
