CONFUSED

     I am TOTALLY  CONFUSED. I have  been thinking of getting a ram up 
grade for my 2c. I have one of the origianl 2c(So I get 255 from  that 
addres that tells you what rom  version you have.) Now to be  able to add 
extra ram to my iic, do I JUST have to replace by rom so when I peek that 
specail address I get 3?. Do I have to  do anything  else special? 
Someone told me that getting this new rom  would ONLY allow me to use a 
3.5 drive...   Could someone fill me  in please...
