Anyone up to writing a true novice's guide to adding a hard drive?

I would love to find a ground zero knowlege guide to adding a hard drive
to a GS.  Something that talks about what junk yards to go to so that you
can find a controller now that Apple dealers say 'apple ii - is that one of the
new power mac code names' and mail order support appears to be disappearing.
Something that talks about what kinds of SCSI drives to avoid and what
kinds to jump on, what to do after you have paid for that used IBM PC
SCSI drive so that you can get an Apple II OS on it, etc.
