Hey man, don't you EVERY feel bad about asking questions! I rarely see 
anyone get flamed for asking a question and thats the way it should be.
The users who normally get flamed are the ones IMO that give asnwers that
are way off the topic or are ofensive towards the user who posted the
question. If you do not know something, the the best thing to do is
what you are doing which is asking!!!

Now to anwer your question, accroding to my Apple 3.5 manual they only 
show how to daisy chain at most two 3.5 and two 5.25 drives at the same
time. It does now show or say how to daisy chain three 3.5 drives and one
5.25. Try connecting all three of the 3.5 drives first then the 5.25 and
see what happens. Hopefully this may work.
