Can we stop the war?

Hello everybody,

Maybe it is time to cool down. There are already enough flames already.
Jawaid has left this newsgroup, many people are more unhappy, and it is a
lost for everybody.

Maybe it all started because we all love GNO, and Jawaid simply don't have the
time for it. He is too busy with other projects. Instead of flaming him or
asking him to stop development on this or that, maybe we can try some
alternative. One such alternative:

* I would suggest Procyon would allows more developers to work on GNO/ME
  kernel/shell. This can work in the profit sharing basis and won't hurt
  Procyon profit margin too much. And developers will be happy. For example,
  expert like Ian can work on the kernel, and Dave can work on the GUI, etc.
  Jawaid can act as a coordinator or project leader.
  
* Jawaid can thus concentrate most of his time in Sequential System.

* Define a goal and work towards it. This work like the Linux project. For
  example, the goal might be to define the next generation OS for GS. So we
  might define GNO + System 6 to be the kernel, the new user interface to
  be based on the Motif look-and-feel and support the Second Sight card, etc.
  Then we work towards it.

In this case this is a win-win situation. Those interested in GNO works on
GNO, those interested in Second Sight work on Second Sight. The results
complements each other and will be good for all of us.
