I must say that even though I've only been IRCing for a couple of
months, the people in #appleiigs have been "cool" imo.  I've asked
a lot of questions (like "what does /mode Zelix +b do?") and have
gotten answers to those questions, and haven't been flamed _once_.
I've even had a truly intellectual discussion with irc'ers, so while
I admit that the discussion isn't always wrt the Apple IIGS, it
still is a worthwhile place to "hang out" when you have too much
homework to do. :)

The worst part about #appleiigs, comp.sys.apple2, etc. is the
difficulty in conveying inflection.  Sure, :)'s help, but even
then, a :) could be interpreted in more than one way.  We all
have to realize that the only support we'll find for the GS is
from each other.  No Claris, Microsloth (whew!), or Apple.

	-me, at 4:00am with 4pgs left on my term paper. 

I feel that my GS (HD, Zip, RAM, Ensoniq, SS card) will _easily_
outperform most all Macs in _everyday_ applications (term progs,
word processors, etc) IMnotsoHO :)  All we need is for someone to
mass-produce "go faster" stripes! :)

Let's make some Mac/IBM'ers envious in '94!
