I'd have to disagree, Todd. Ian's attitude i've been able
to work with for awhile now; yeah, I may not like it, but
that's my problem, isn't it; just like people don't like
my pessimistic and "unrealistic" attitude, they've gotta
deal with it: now, whether that means hiring a hitman to
pick me off or just plain-out "letting it go" I don't know;
but to get somewhere, you've gotta learn to compensate.
Ian's attitude is fine with me; it's got flaws, as does
my attitude (mine has more, that's for sure), but no one's
perfect, and I doubt strongly Ian's trying to become such.

They won't be the same ever again; I think this entire topic
has gotten out-of-hand; it's in the past, but the past is al-
ways something to remember to remind us what to do or what not
to do. I don't think things'll ever "be back to normal," but i'm
not stopping you from hoping.

Post schmost. Stop pointing fingers at Ian, and start pointing
fingers at everyone, including yourself. Make it fair; IMHO,
Ian shouldn't be blamed and insulted because he expressed him-
self; hell, I did the same thing on c.s.a2.gno awhile back,
and got the living sh** flamed out of me, just because I was
expressing my previous interactions w/ GNO and how I disliked
what I saw; I only got one or two replies of "Hey, I agree
with you!" while the rest were "What in the hell gives you the
right to talk about a product that way?" - I've got the right
to express myself, as does Ian: I would PREFER we, as in all
of us, be open-minded on this and try to see things from his
eyes rather than just gouging his out.
Sorry folks, but I don't see too many people looking at this
from both sides; I always expressed *MY* opinion in the post
from Jawaid about IRC; those're my feelings, not how I do
react in an instance such as this one. My personal opinion
shouldn't influence my ideals of looking at things from both
sides as best as possible: I just wish everyone had the ability
to.
...and if you consider it crazy? Well then, there's a real simple
reply: "Ian, keep being honest & expressing yourself!"
