I do not see what the BIG deal is about uuencoding. Since there are GS
specific archives, and there are programs out there (freeware) that can do
uudecoding on the GS. The program is called GSCII+ version 2.XX (I do not
remember the exact version). This NDA uuencodes/decodes, binscii et.all!!
Hence I see NO reason to not use uuencode.  Uuencode is also a ASCII text
format and it is a standard on all other platforms but the Apple II.
Ofcourse, if these files were to be used on a machine other then a GS, such
as a //e or //c then you have a problem and thus you should use BinSci.
However, in the case of the GS, who cares what format it is so as long as
here are programs out there that can deal with it (in this case gscii+ which
can be found via FTP just about any where). Those are my .02, of comments.
 
 
With regard this with x-rated stuff, I have to agree, there are news groups
for those pics. In cases like  David's it would not be cool to have the
feed cut off because of posting of xrated stuff. Again my .02, not intended
to flame anyone.
