An accelerator can go in _any_ slot if the cable is long enough.  And,
since it only gets power from the slot (and maybe some other stuff, I
don't know, but I don't remember seeing any other traces connected),
you don't even need to set the control panel to "your card"
for that slot.  So you could put it in slot 6 and still use 5.25" drives
in the daisy chain.
