A2 - Mac+ service info wtd

Greetings,

        When I use a program that uses the Apple IIc  mouse, the pointer
just drops to the bottom of the screen and does not react to x,y movement.
Pressing the mouse button does cause a system beep, though, so that part of
the mouse operation seems to be working ok.

        I have checked wiring continuity and all seems to be ok, too.

        Does any one know of an Apple Tech note or A+-inCider article that
covers servicing the mouse, or has any one had this problem and can suggest
a fix?
