Without much of the comercial element anymore it's takes a lot longer to
get the word out to the people. If you want to get your s/w into the
hands of the general programming population you're going to have to reach
out a little more. Suggestion: Put together a _one page_ "press release"
for your product and put it on the network. Include a suggestion to the
readers to pass it on to local BBS's. Offer special deals so that user-
groups can get group purchases, (This will solve the "But no one I know
has that compiler..." problem.) Then sit back and be patient. You will
find that people write and say, "Yesterday I just discovered you had a new
product out, and I want it!" (and it's been out for over a year....)

Nobody on the net hates Canadians. (Unfortunately, most artists live
meager lives. It's only years later that they are really appriciated. ;)

If you're serious about getting in contact with a dozen or so programmers
(not hard core, just people who use their GS's for programming but not
to make a living with) send me a note. I will pass on anything you send.
