Yep, that's what it is. The Drive Card sends out signals to the drive to
tell it where to position the head. I'm sure that I will be corrected
if I'm wrong but remember that if one of the signals controlling the
stepper motor goes out the drive makes a clicking sound, but doesn't move.
These drive card are cheap now. I'm sure someone can tell you the exact
chip to replace. I can't find my diagram right now.
