This is really only hearsay... but I was under the impression and I could well
be wrong, that the vulcans could be daisy chained to another IDE drive, in
"normal" ibm style... seeing as how like SCSI drives they are purely block
devices... however the rumour was also that they wouldn't be able to be used
as prodos devices.. whether this was due to size or not I don't know... if
nothing else an option that bears investigation...
