Re: Apple ][gs VGA Card

I don't know why you guys are so irritating. If there is nothing for GS,
you guys complained. When there is finally something, you guys complained.
If you don't think that it is interesting, shut up and enjoy yourself. And
please get your information right before you post. Second Sight is just $179,
not >$300 as you said.

What a laugh. I have played with TurboRez and impressed by the speed. I am
not sure about TurboRez, but it too has a graphics accelerator. For software
support, this is a chicken and egg problem. There are still programmers here
willing to program for this card. Of course we won't be producing yet another
AppleWorks GS clone (but who knows? someone might), but applications like
CD-ROM reader, text editor, painting program, multitasking environment can be
updated to support this card.

Please eat your words in one month time. If you can't see how Jawaid can
cover the R&D, please put your *bright* mind elsewhere. We don't need people
like you that keeps telling us "GS is dead", "GS has no application", "If
there is application, there will be no support", "If there is support, there
will be no market", "if there is a market, the market is too small", "if
the market is big enough, you find find better market elsewhere", etc.
(OK OK, I did put those few words in your mouth, but I think this is probably
the line of your argument).
To those who still support the IIGS: Support those who support you. Support
Second Sight!
