All well and fine, but how does this help me? Right. Not. If you 
have nothing constructive to say, why not spare the effort?

What was first, the hen or the egg? Your arguments remind me 
strongly of the time when SVGA came out. Look at it this way:
If I want to do X at blinding (well, nearly :) speed, I use my
PC. If I want to have fun, I use my GS. $180 is a small price
to pay for the satisfaction of seeing my GS with SVGA resolution.

In other words: I don't expect my GS to compete with a P5. Common
sense? Nahh ... too much hassle.
