On Mac:

1. A Mac with Apple IIe card installed (and 5.25" drive connected) can 
read them.

2. Any Apple II with a 3.5" drive and 5.25" drive (most IIGSs fit this 
description) will allow you to transfer files from 5.25" to 3.5", which 
can then be read on the Mac using Apple File Exchange or the ProDOS file 
extension.

On a PC:

Your best bet is to find someone with a PCTransporter, which can convert 
files from ProDOS to MS-DOS. Alternatively, upload the text file to a BBS 
(an attached file to GEnie e-mail will do) and download the same file to 
a PC. You may have to do some linefeed/carriage return conversions, but 
that's about it.
