StyleWriter I Driver
Well. I've taken the plunge at last and bought a decent printer
for my ][GS: a StyleWriter I.
The print quality is excellent and it even does a good job
on grey scale pictures.
However, there is one potentially serious problem that someone out there
might be able to help me with.
Kerning
No matter what font I select, the letters are crammed together
so that they almost touch. In a couple of cases they even overlap.
In addition, the text will not right-justify, probably due to
the same problem; all the space between the letters is being removed.
I am using System 6 and its StyleWriter driver.
Am I using the wrong settings on the control panel etc
or is this a bug in the printer driver?
If the latter, is there a bug fix, perhaps in System 6.0.1?
