This post has nothing to do with me, my opinion, or the opinions of PowerGS -- 
is it strictly a favor done for another person who can't post because of a
local problem with which I assume to be there .newsrc (as in the letter).
 
The complete letter sent to me is as follows, and I have *NOTHING* to do with
its contents.

I was passing through some irc channels over the last few days, and have
found channel #appleiigs to be the most racist and bigoted I've ever seen.
The maturity level is next to nil, with all kinds of racist epithets, bad
jokes, and just plain crap all over the place.  I saw next to *no* discussion
of the Apple //gs, or any other computer for that matter.  The leader of
this seemed to be Ian Schmidt, with a little "Corey" thrown in (whomever
that is).  I could not believe what racists these guys are.  I'll post
some exceprts I text-buffer-captured over the past couple of days, or
if you want to see immaturity (hate?), just check out the channel for
yourself.  For example, I saw a "megga-nigga-destructo-mode" irc 'BOT'
kicking people off the channel, I guess they were black or something.
I guess that Apple II brotherhood exists everywhere but on the 'net.
 
Channel #appleiigs:  no programming, plenty of racists.  24 hours a day.
