14MHz chip problems sort of solved?

Well, I have been experimenting around with the new 14MHz chip, and have
come to the conclusion that the static rams that I ma using are the
problem. I have read about some attempts to solve this problme, and
will try myself. The chips worked fine on a friends machine, but he has
old 70ns static rams, with only 16k cache, running at 7Mhz. I on the
other hand have 64k of 20ns srams, and am getting heaps of problems...
the system will boot and run in 2.7mhz mode, but nohting else.... I
think that some sheilding around the srams, and a few caps across the
voltage and ground pines might help... Will have to see.

Any way, anyone who knows what sort of sheilding I should use, please tell me.

	Will keep you informed.

	Stu.

p.s. I am still working on the sound card that will output 8 channels of
sound. Things are a happening.
