I wont answer for certain on the drives teh RF can use, but I think just
about any single speed CD-ROM drive will work.

as for diskQuest, _I_ think it's worth it.  I have only 5 of the CDs
available from Sequential Systems, but I also subscribe to develop and get a quarterly disk from them, I have several "PC" based disks I occasiaonlly
pull datafrom.. all in all, I'd say the darn thing is nearly essential to me (and yes, I have kids too)
