Error $0043 is 'Bad File Reference Number.' When it dies this way,
it means that something inside GS/OS is trying to access a file that
the system can't track.

Problems like this can be caused by a corrupted version of GS/OS, or
a bad init/etc. Does this problem occur when shiftbooting? If so, try
and isolate the bad init, and reinstall it. Otherwise, I'd recommend
a full reinstall of GS/OS to clean out any corruptions.

I've heard that some really fast Zip's can cause some
instabilities; see if this problem goes away when you boot at 2.5 Mhz
or so. If so, your Zip may need to be slowed down at boot. I've heard
that Eric Shepherd's ProBOOT can do such a thing.
