Quick technology lesson: 65802 is a 65816 in the same package (size,
pinouts, everything) as a 6502/65C02. The advantage of it is that you
can do 16-bit operations, etc. The disadvantage is that you have to use
the host's machine kludges to access more than 64K of memory; the 65802
can't directly address the extra memory.

If the switch on the //c+ just changes whether the chip runs at 1 o
4 Mhz, dropping in a 4+Mhz 65802 should work, as you can underclock a
chip without too much problem. But, if it's something like the ZipChip,
where there's support circuitry on the microprocessor, things can get
very bad.
