There is an excellent history of the Apple II: in text file format that was
run in Genielamp and also put out by Software of the Month Club. I suppose
it is available on the Net, though I am not sure where...
Also, there is a book that covers up through 1984 at Apple, called The Little
Kingdom. You can also check out Sculley's biography (cringe) and a biography of
Steve Jobs called The Journey is the Reward.
