Re: History of Apple/Wozniak?
In a previous article, cav@strauss.udel.edu (Steve Cavanaugh) says:
>There is an excellent history of the Apple II: in text file format that was
>run in Genielamp and also put out by Software of the Month Club. I suppose
>it is available on the Net, though I am not sure where...
>Also, there is a book that covers up through 1984 at Apple, called The Little
>Kingdom. You can also check out Sculley's biography (cringe) and a biography of
>Steve Jobs called The Journey is the Reward.
I also picked up _West of Eden_ at a local book shop in the mall for $5 two
years ago, copytright 1989, with the subtitle "The End of Innocence at Apple
Computer" by Frank Rose. Good book, covered the whole history, lots of
inside info. It ends with Jobs going off to form NeXT, with some great info
about that (like after he moved his Mac Plus to his new office, he gouged
the Apple logo right off the case).
