anoyne know how to hook up a IIgs 13" to a mac?

I've got a 13" apple monitor lying around and I wanna hook it up to my mac..

If I adjest the first knob in the back (I think it's horizontal hold)
I get two images side by side.  The one of the right is the entire
screen except that it's squished beyond belief and the first is just
plain half there... anyways I think that If I just got another pot to
replace the on on the board I might have a shot at it.. 


anyone have any luck with something like this??
