Caps lock on Extended Keyboard

I just bought the AppleDesign Extended Keyboard (from Apple) and I'm
very happy with it.  However, when I turn on my ROM 1 //gs, the num
lock, caps lock, and scroll lock keys flash, and then caps lock is
activated until I press it twice.  I use key notifier so the light
will turn on, but it does this whether or not I have key notifier
active.  This is not cool and I was wondering if there was a way
around this problem.  If I just turn my computer off for a few
seconds, I don't experience the problem, but if it is off for longer
than that, it sets the caps lock.  If anyone out there knows how to
beat this problem, please tell me.  Thanks in advance.
