Network Hard Disk for Apple ][

I would like to know if ProDOS supports some kind of network mounted
volumes just like AppleShare or NFS on an Apple ][{+|e|c}. I am writing
an Apple ][ emulator and I want to add an emulated hard disk. I could
have use a huge file (~10M) but moving files to and from such a pseudo
hard disk is troublesome and I would like to see if I can interface the
native file system (Unix) as a pseudo network volume. Any info would be
appreciated.
