Before the whole world starts clambering over me (again) - my original
comments, and the point this thread started on, was the subject of the
status of Ultima V on cassandra, which someone seemed to feel was still
being sold, commercially. Now that, I suggest, is not a grey area.

As for abandonment, yes, of course. Same for 'faillure to defend' - at
least in the majority of case. But let me repeat, this thread started off
discussing software that is thought to be 'current'. On that matter, I
stand my ground.

And on a side point, if the 'rules' are only those which apply in a
jungle, or the only ones that 'count', then is it any wonder we have a
world full of people who are, as far as can be discerned, solely
concerned with finding a good price for their grandmothers?
