Re: Reasons to USE Apples.

I haven't had an Apple for about 4 years now :.(, but I'm in the proccess
of traking down and buying one (an Apple IIe 128k or IIc would be nice guys).

I started computing on a IIe 9 years ago, and learn't Applesoft BASIC
from scratch and from Nibble (Great mag). I then started machine code
and was just about to start into the nity-grity of disk protection when I
left home and my beloved behind :.(

Advantages I find in an Apple IIe:-

1) Their basically indestructable
2) They have a small instruction set, so machine code is dead easy

Also I find apples in general to be the best users of memory bar-none.
e.g, Appleworks.... Word proccessor, Database and Spreadsheet, on about 2
5 1/4" floppies. Look at Word for Windows, 16meg word proccessor that
does sweet nothing

Oh well, enuf of the rambling
