If it is not 65832, then why ARM/7? Why don't use something like PowerPC?
or Pentium? Or MIPS chip? Or Sparc?

I thought Avatar is dead long time ago, after last KansasFest where the
Avtar project changes from creating the Super IIGS to making a device that
convert SNES into a IIGS - something I don't think there is even a market.

I think the best way is NOT to create yet another clone. That would be useless.
There aren't much software companies for us now. First, with so many of the 
IIGS users here, we can't even keep small dedicated companies like Econ alive,
not to say that Avatar will have a even much smaller market, and I was  
wondering who will write software for it - even it lives. Second, why goes
against the trend?

I would suggest bright minds like Bill should be spent on creating something
like a SoftGS (like SoftPC or SoftWindows) for the PC. This would have a much
bigger impact for us. Or do something to expand the life of our GS - like
a graphics card, some great new software or hardware, etc.
